Educational Philosophy

The philosophical foundation at the time of curriculum design and development is based on the goal that what students learn from the development of the curriculum designed by the study program can be used to be able to understand the essence of life as a human being, and the knowledge learned can be used by students later to improve the quality of life both individually and in groups in society (Zais, 1976 in the Ministry of Education and Culture, 2020). The philosophical foundation for curriculum change or development in a concise manner can be interpreted so that students will be able to understand the essence of their lives, and the knowledge learned will be useful to improve the quality of their lives in the future, so that they can also achieve the goal of nation building, namely achieving a just and prosperous society based on Pancasila. So this philosophical foundation must be held by the study program in designing changes or improvements to its curriculum.
